Prentice Pendleton and The Boo Hags

For twelve year-old Prentice Pendleton and his friends, summer is coming to an end in the small sea-side community of Capron Bay, Massachusetts. Everyone knows the coming school year will be different. After months of a global pandemic nobody knows what to expect but they are trying to enjoy every minute of summer before it gives way to the new day-to-day routine of school. 

As summer winds down, the kids of Capron Bay begin suffering nightmares and waking up with fresh wounds all over their body. The wounds may be from their own hands. Town officials and parents are fearful the virus has mutated and returned with a vengeance. As the town scrambles to find the cause of these attacks, an ancient evil descends upon Capron Bay. Nightmare creatures that invade the sleep and feed on the life force of the young are gathering in town and they have allied themselves with a group of modern day assassins. They all have one goal. They want Prentice Pendleton dead. 

The quiet fishing village will be turned into a war zone as the forces of good and evil wage battle throughout the town. The townspeople will fight in order to protect a friend and will have to depend on a former enemy. Can he be trusted? Prentice Pendleton and his friends will have to band together and rely on one another to defeat the horrors that are coming for them. Can Prentice harness the power of the rainbow to save his family, his friends and the town he has come to love?
